Sinopsis dari anime 2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu:
Siswa SMA, Kimichika Haijima kembali ke kampung halamannya, Fukuo, setelah membuat masalah di klub voli SMP di bilangan Tokyo. Disana ia bereuni dengan teman masa kecilnya, Yunii Kuroba, yang memiliki kemampuan fisik yang baik, namun lemah saat berada dalam tekanan. Haijima, dengan semangat menggebu-gebu dan talenta dalam olahraga volu, membentuk kombinasi duo dengan Kuroba.Keduanya bersekolah di SMA Seiin, dimana mereka bergabung dengan klub voli. Mereka telah ditunggu oleh kapten pemarah bertinggi 163 cm, Shinichirou Oda, wakil kapten yang memiliki talenta serta lidah tajam bernama Misao Aoki, dan partnernya tiga tahun terakhir dan siswa kelas dua, termasuk Akito Kanno, yang selalu menggunakan pakaian lengan panjang dikarenakan alerginya terhadap sinar matahari.Tim yang baru dibentuk ini memecahkan telur kelemahan mereka dan menjadi jawara terbaru Fukui. Ini adalah perjalanan sebuah tim menuju kemenangan, dengan berhadapan para rival yang menarik di jalan mereka.
